The AIDS Memorial Park and Museum at the St. Vincent’s Hospital site seeks to commemorate AIDS victims in NYC. The design also marks my first collaboration with an architect. I was responsible for the above grade plaza, which uses water to offer a side of refuge and reflection. The adjacent side of the park plays up the playful nature of water, and has granite pavers in the fountain for children to skip around on. This ties in through a ramp with an underground museum which was designed by  Christopher Brenny.
